Michael Levin new website, video trilogy and workshop

Vancouver based and award winning black and white fine art photographer Michael Levin, just announced that he has launched his new website on www.michaellevin.ca with some of his new work. His new work is a great demonstration of Black and White photography minimalism. My favourite: PODS 2011. I think it’s brilliant. Just go and have a look yourself.
Furthermore Michael created a new blog video called KI. It’s not just a video, but an impressive work of storytelling using time-lapse featuring Michael Levin at work out in the field in Japan and created by talented film maker Brad Kremer. It’s the first in a trilogy. You have to look at it large and loud because the music really adds to the impact of the video. You can see the video here on my website, on Michael Levin’s video-section on his website here or go to Vimeo.

Latest news on Michael Levin is that he’s planning a 2-day workshop in September in Brighton in the UK for 15 people max. I’ve been on the first Michael Levin workshop in Knokke in Belgium myself late 2010 and I can really recommend it to anyone serious about creating B&W long exposure fine art work. Besides discussing the usual items like how to get gallery representation, Michael will also be doing some PS demonstrations. More details on the Michael Levin workshop will follow this week on this website and of course also on Michael Levin’s website. Keep an eye on this!
