New BWVision Black and White Fine art website

Finally, after months of preparations, brainstorming with friends, photographers and others all over the world, the first phase of BWVision has finished and we are live! Although the changes on the website may not look spectacular, the real change isn’t in the lay-out and the usual articles and tutorials on our website, but in the philosophy and strategy behind it.
Translating those ideas to a practical concept is what was really time-consuming and demanded careful preparation.

The first phase consists of a redesign of the website and the introduction of limited edition galleries for exclusive signed and numbered high-end monochromatic prints from a select group of established international artists and emerging talents.
The philosophy is quite simple: bringing exclusive high quality art to your home and make it accessible to anyone without having to go through thousands of photos on thousands of websites. Because we – BWVision and the collaborating artists – will do the selection for you.
Another concept that we brought into practice was that the final print is equally important as the (often times) digital photo. A masterfully printed and matted photo can bring a great shot to life and will be a continuous joy to view. That’s why we work with a passionate and masterful monochrome reproduction studio in Detroit, USA, run by Jeff Gaydash. You can find all about him and his studio on this website.
Our museum quality mats (for the black limited editions even double mats) are largely derived from a renowned German manufacturer to ensure the prints will last a lifetime and will proof to be a valuable investment. We will ship all over the world, in quality boxes, with no additional costs.
The second phase of the BWVision strategy will be the introduction of the other artists to our limited edition galleries. That will be implemented two months from now. The concept behind it is again simple: create more, deserved, exposure for the artists by collaboration and cross-promotion – by joining artistic and creative forces. If you are a Black and White fine art artist and are interested in collaborating with us, then by all means, contact us.

There is so much more to come, like new tutorials on my personal B&W processing techniques, but we will reveal that in time. For now, enjoy the site and spread the word that this is the place to be for Black and White fine art photography.

Joel, Best of luck with the new site. Everything looks great. I’ll be very curious to see some familiar work in the Limited Editions.

    Cheers,
